Sam Jane, a summer intern at The Baltimore Sun, is a rising senior at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he is a sports editor and football beat reporter at The Diamondback, the student-run newspaper. He more recently covered Super Bowl 59 and traveled to Africa to cover the NBA’s advancement. Sam has also been a high school sports reporter for The Washington Post and previously interned on the news desk at MLive, Michigan’s largest statewide publication.
