Here are the Halloween costumes everyone is Googling this year
Wondering what people will be wearing for Halloween this year? It probably won’t be a surprise to hear that “KPOP Demon Hunters” costumes are dominating trending lists for 2025, as Rumi, Zoey, Mira, Jinu and even Derpy are at the top of Google’s recently released “most-searched costume” list. However, not every trick-or-treater you see on Halloween night will be dressed up like characters from the Netflix animated film that’s taken the world by storm. In fact, other pop culture characters are catching the eyes of Halloween fans everywhere, so if you or your kid wants to wear something different, you won’t be alone.

Google’s “Frightgeist” search data shows that “Wicked” characters Glinda and Elphaba are also at the top of the list, as well as Marvel’s Nightwing, Minecraft’s Chicken Jockey, and classics like Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax and the founding fathers of Lin-Manuel’s “Hamilton.”

Rumi is the #1 most-searched costume this year. The lead vocalist for Huntrix has captured the hearts of people everywhere, and it has all the fun details of Rumi’s show outfit, including the signature purple wig.
Zoey (from “K-Pop Demon Hunters”)
Zoey comes in at #2! If your child has a group of friends or siblings who want to go as the demon-hunting trio, this is a perfect costume idea.

Mira, of course, is #3 on the list, and while she might be the prickliest member of the band, she still knows the meaning of true friendship. The real issue is deciding which concert outfit your gang will choose for Halloween night!
Batman’s sidekick, Robin, gets an upgrade when he decides to strike out and make a name for himself. This costume comes with the padded suit and mask.
We’re finally getting the second half of John Chu’s epic masterpiece, which means our favorite green not-so-wicked witch is just as popular as she was in 2024. This beautiful costume comes with a dress, cape and pointed hat.
Elphaba’s bubbly friend-turned-nemesis is also on the most-search list. This costume is a beautiful shade of pink (Glinda would approve) and it comes with a crown and a wand.
Don’t throw away your shot at sporting one of the best (in our opinion) costumes on this year’s list. Whether they choose George Washington or one of the other founding fathers, you can’t go wrong with “Hamilton.”
Chicken Jockey (from Minecraft)
The movie was a hit with fans of the video game, so this wearable chicken jockey costume will probably be one you’ll see more than once this year. It doesn’t come with the Minecraft head, but you can easily buy that separately.
