As a temporary resident of federally subsidized housing, it would appear that President Donald Trump had no right to destroy part of the White House (“Who is paying for Trump’s new $300 million ballroom at the White House?” Oct. 24). Anyone else in similar circumstances would undoubtedly be evicted. Let us hope that the same fate befalls Trump.
