Another weekend this way comes, and as such, even more things to do are sure to come with it. Here is some of what’s going on:

Annapolis Sailboat Show

The second of Annapolis Boat Shows’ events this fall has arrived: the Annapolis Sailboat Show kicked off on Thursday and will continue throughout the weekend.

It starts every day at 10 a.m., and general admission is $32. On Sunday, with a valid military ID, tickets are $22.

The show will feature sailboats of all different makes and models. The show’s website lists the event as having nearly 600 exhibitors.

SoCo Farmers Market Oktoberfest

Moving farther south, the SoCo Farmers Market at the Deale Library will be celebrating Oktoberfest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The market will have special vendors and food to fit the occasion, according to the event page.

On top of the festivities, the standard market will still be held, featuring produce, baked goods and more for sale.

Art @ the Park in Quiet Waters Park

Art @ the Park, organized by the Friends of Quiet Waters Park and Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The festival is celebrating its 35th year and will feature plenty of art, music, food and things to do.

Due to renovation inside the park’s Visitor Center and Blue Heron Center, all booths are outside this year.

Magothy Maker’s Market

Another market, but in the opposite direction, is local coffee business Magothy Roasting Co.’s monthly maker’s market.

The roaster’s website lists all the makers in attendance this month, which include Magothy itself and other vendors selling local wine, handmade extracts, baked goods, art and more.

It runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday on Mountain Road, just east of the intersection with Outing Avenue.
