Put on your cape and cowl and drive your Batmobile to the Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend at the Baltimore Convention Center, 1 W. Pratt St. If you’re new to comic book collecting or just trying to find that hard-to-get issue, walk the floors and check out the vendors. Comic-book creators will be on hand, including Chris Claremont (X-Men), Amy Chu (Red Sonja), Garth Ennis (The Boys), Mike Grell (Green Arrow), Amy Reeder (Batwoman) and more. Ongoing: ‘The Way of Nature’

See how humans fit into a larger natural world from an Asian perspective at “The Way of Nature: Art from Japan, China, and Korea” at the Baltimore Museum of Art, 1 Art Museum Drive. The exhibition has more than 40 works from ink drawings to stoneware and photographs of seascapes and mountain ranges, to plant life and wild animals — both real and imagined. Fans of Moana come aboard and ply the Polynesian seas in search of adventure at “Disney On Ice 2025” at the CFG Bank Arena, 201 W. Baltimore St. The Character Experience, a ticket upgrade, is available for preshow activities, including interactive time with select characters. Saturday: Baltimore Running Festival
Lace up your running shoes or cheer on the runners at the 25th annual Baltimore Running Festivals. Events include the Marathon (26.2 miles), Half-Marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, 5K, Baltimoron-a-thon, .05K presented by 98 ROCK, Chessie Challenge, Black Eyed Susan Challenge or run virtually. Sunday: Maryland Kidney Walk
Get some exercise for a good cause at the 23rd annual Maryland Kidney Walk at UMBC-Erickson Field, 1000 Hilltop Circle. Help raise awareness and money to combat kidney diseases. There is no entry fee, but walkers are asked to fundraise. Participants who raise $100 or more get a Kidney Walk T-shirt.
