See a shocking take on a biblical tale by a murdered composer written over 300 years ago at the “IN Series presents St. John The Baptist — World Premier Staging” at the Baltimore Theatre Project, 45 W. Preston St. Alessandro Stradella created a Baroque version of the tale of King Herod, Salome and John the Baptist. Enter Dr. Frankenstein’s laboratory and run your own ghoulish experiments at Spooky Science at the Maryland Science Center, 601 Light St., Baltimore. Take the monster engineering challenges like jack-o-lanterns blowing their lids, pumpkins flying and more. Little mad scientists are encouraged to show up in costume. Take the whole family to an event that mixes seasonal fun and local artistry at the Fall Harvest and Arts Festival to be held at Willow Grove Farm at Cromwell Valley Park, 2002 Cromwell Bridge Road, Towson. Purchase artwork, listen to live musical performances by Skribe and Ari and The Buffalo Kings, and sample culinary delights and drinks from food trucks.
