List of major layoffs continues to grow along with concerns about the labor market

Sizeable layoffs at major businesses across economic sectors have started to pile up over the last several weeks in the United States. Amazon said this past week it would cut 14,000 corporate jobs. Even with momentum slowing, companies had mostly held onto employees throughout the year. But some sizeable layoffs at major businesses across economic sectors have started to pile up over the last several weeks.
