Two months after his latest domestic violence charges were dropped by a former partner, Baltimore boxer Gervonta “Tank” Davis had another domestic violence case filed against him by another former partner, according to court documents.

Davis, 30, was sued Oct. 30 in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court by Courtney Rossel, who accused him of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to court records.

Rossel’s complaint alleges that on Monday, Davis entered her workplace, Tootsies Cabaret, a Miami gentlemen’s club where she worked as a VIP cocktail waitress, and assaulted her.

The lawsuit states Davis “grabbed Rossel, dragged her through a stairway, kitchen and back entrance into the parking garage, where he continuously grabbed, choked, pushed, pulled and struck her in the back of the head.”

Rossel said Davis texted her about an hour later that he was “on [his] way” to her house — a message she interpreted as a threat of further abuse. She also alleged Davis has continued to abuse and threaten her since the incident.

The lawsuit further claims Davis assaulted her on at least four other occasions, including Sept. 2, when he allegedly threatened to kill her for not answering his calls, sending the message, “I’ll kill you.” Rossel also said he choked her on Sept. 23 and assaulted her in a backroom at Tootsies on another unspecified date to avoid security cameras.

Court filings state Davis and Rossel met in 2022 and became “intimately involved” about five months before the alleged October assault.

Davis previously faced a domestic violence case in July in Miami, filed by another ex-girlfriend who accused him of hitting her in the back of the head and slapping her while picking up their children on Father’s Day. Those charges were dropped.

He was also arrested in 2022 following a fight with another former girlfriend, but that case was dismissed.

In 2023, Davis was sentenced to 90 days of house arrest after four people were injured in a 2020 hit-and-run crash in Baltimore. He later violated probation by traveling to Florida, prompting a judge to extend his supervision by 18 months and order him to pay to charity.

Davis (30-0-1, 28 knockouts) last fought in March, earning a draw against Lamont Roach Jr. His next fight is scheduled for Nov. 14 against boxer and social media influencer Jake Paul.
